To complete your 100-hour Sound Healing certification, each participant is required to complete 25 hours of practicum. These hours are designed to help you integrate your training, build confidence, and apply what you've learned in a real-world or practice setting.
Breakdown of Practicum Hours:
1. Facilitation – 9 hours
Lead a total of 6, 1 hour sound sessions (group or private) with a maximum of 30 minutes for preparation and set-up to count toward the 9 hour total.
Sessions may include sound meditations, sound baths, guided sound journeys, or combined offerings
Sessions may be offered in-person or virtually
You are encouraged to adapt the J.O.U.R.N.E.Y.© Framework as a guide
Document reflections after each session
2. Observation – 4 hours
Attend and observe at least 4 hours of sound healing experiences led by others. This may include live events, online offerings, or recorded sessions, but at least one hour must be live and in-person.
Note this is not participation and you will stay upright to observe during the experience
Take notes on facilitation style, flow, use of instruments, and participant experience
Submit a short reflection for each observation
3. Self-Practice – 8 hours
Engage in a minimum of 8 hours of personal sound healing practice.
This can include intuitive instrument play, vocal toning, mantra practice, journaling after sound sessions, or recording personal sound meditations
At least 3 practices should be documented with a short reflection
4. Participation – 4 hours
Contribute 4 hours of participation within the Sacred Sound community.
This includes attending practicum sessions led by peers (group or 1:1), engaging in peer feedback circles, offering support in group sessions, or participating in a Sound experience from another teacher
Participation helps build community and deepen your understanding through shared practice so try to partake in a variety of opportunities
Documentation & Submission
You will receive a practicum tracker to log your hours, experiences, and reflections. Completed logs must be submitted before receiving your certificate.
