Ancestral Healing
Wisdom and guidance run through our DNA from the experiences of our ancestors
We also carry the trauma and burdens of ancestral wrongs and events
Healing through ancestral work means it’s time to unburden ourselves from past stories and events that have been in our family and DNA for generations
Have you ever sat and listened to family stories from generations past, both the “good” and the “bad” and grown up with a Belief System handed down to you by your parents or grandparents that probably stemmed from their parents and grandparents?
Lines of stories through ancestral lineages hold deep connection to our current Belief Systems
The eggs in a woman’s womb develop in her body as a fetus, around week 20, this means that we were all in the womb of our Grandmother as well as our Mother and that our Mother was in the womb of her Great-Grandmother.
Generational stress can be carried through this physical connection as well as the emotional connection we have with our family and our ancestral heritage
Recapitulation practice:
The practice of taking back any lost power from an event in your personal or ancestral lineage.
Start by bringing a memory that is “easy” but still raises some unpleasant emotions and feelings
Feel everything without pushing it away and allow them to flow through you fully.
Then start to focus on exhaling anything that isn’t yours that you may have taken on during the event.
Then shift your focus to the inhale to begin to call back any personal power that was lost during the event.
Spend as much time as you need and know you may have to revisit particularly traumatic events more than once to fully recapitulate them.
You can do this with ancestral wounds too as you start to call back power lost generations ago that is still affecting you today.

Practice:
One of you will be the Facilitator (A) to start and the Receiver (B) to start, you will switch roles after 10 mins and then discuss for the last few minutes.
As the Facilitator (A) you will take a moment to ground yourself and your energy and then ask the Receiver (B) to do the same.
Then do this together, attuning to the shared energy of the space.
The Facilitator (A) will then lead the Receiver (B) through a guided experience to deepen their connection to their breath and their energetic centers.
Practice your cueing of energetic awareness and how it feels to embody them at each stage.
Facilitator (A) observe your Receiver (B) and begin to intuit which energetic center is in need of more healing. Receiver (B) are you open to guidance and help from your Facilitator (A)?
Each session should last about 10 minutes and then spend some time discussing your experience and sharing feedback.
